We currently have 1 Padel court.

All bookings must be made 24 hours in advance to secure your match.

We are a wine estate and guesthouse and our Padel court is located in the middle of the vinyard. Hence, we don`t provide the facilities of a gym and don`t have changing rooms, lockers or showers. If you are staying with us at Fransvliet, you can easily walk to the court and back to the comfort of your room to change and shower.

Fransvliet Estate doesn`t have a spa.

Yes, we provide towels with your equipment.

We have a Bistro in which we offer a selection of cool drinks, wines and beers as well as some light snacks. We don`t have a restaurant with an extensive menu at the Estate.

If you join us for a match for the day, you can rent racquets (R100 per player) and balls (R50 for 3 balls). Guests with a booking at one of the Suites or Villas can use our equipment free of charge.

As a guesthouse, we prioritize the comfort and relaxation of our guests. The Padel court is available for our in-house guests from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. For visitors coming for a match, the court is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

As a guesthouse dedicated to the comfort of our holidaymakers, we kindly limit outside groups to a maximum of 4 guests at a time.

No, you can visit us for a game and glass of wine or snack in our Bistro. Please ensure to have made your booking for the Padel court 24 hours before you get to Fransvliet Estate.

Terms & Conditions
1. Booking and Reservation:
All bookings for the padel court must be made in advance through our designated booking system or by contacting padel@fransvliet.co.za
Bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Fransvliet Padel reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to unforeseen circumstances or maintenance requirements.
2. Court Usage:
The padel court must be used for its intended purpose of playing padel only.
Players must adhere to the rules and regulations of the game and maintain proper sportsmanship throughout their play.
The maximum number of players per court is four (2 players per team).
Non-marking padel shoes must be worn to protect the court surface.
Players are responsible for their own equipment and must ensure it does not cause any damage to the court or surrounding areas.
3. Safety and Liability:
All players make use of the padel courts at their own risk, and Fransvliet Padel will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur.
Players are advised to warm up properly and take necessary precautions to prevent injuries.
Fransvliet Padel reserves the right to deny access or remove any individual or group from the premises if they pose a threat to the safety or well-being of others.
4. Cancellation and Refunds:
Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance of the booking time will be eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will not be eligible for a refund.
In case of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, Fransvliet Padel may offer to reschedule the booking or provide a refund at its discretion.
5. Code of Conduct:
All players are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner.
Any form of abusive language, harassment, or inappropriate behavior towards other players, staff, or visitors will not be tolerated.
Fransvliet Padel reserves the right to take appropriate action, including suspending or banning individuals, in cases of misconduct.
6. Facility Rules:
Smoking and illegal substances are strictly prohibited within the padel court premises.
Pets are not allowed on the padel court or surrounding areas.
Players are expected to maintain cleanliness and dispose of any litter in designated areas.
Day visitors / external guests are limited to 4 guests per booking.
7. Equipment Rental
Equipment Rental is available to day visitors / external guests at surcharge. You can rent racquets (R100 per player) and balls (R50 for 3 balls).
Guests with a booking at one of the Suites or Villas can use our equipment free of charge.
By booking and using the Fransvliet Padel Court, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Fransvliet Padel reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions as necessary.
